13.

The two rolls of Film I am sending you undeveloped because I doubt if I will have time to get these done here. I hope they turn out O.K.

37.   Camels bring green fodder (lucerne mostly) into Mena Camp. To see some of the camels when loaded up you would think their legs would snap.
38.   Two "shadufs" working together. On road from Mena Camp.
39.   Procession of Egyptian wedding passing along street. Taken from Mr Chinn's balcony. A part of the procession are the men playing instruments something like clarinets. When these are tired a second batch of musicians behind with bagpipes take up the refrain. As you know the Scotch & Irish very foolishly copied their instruments from the Egyptians. Next in order comes the "sais" or runners bearing their wands. Immediately behind comes the curtained carriage containing the bride. So closely is it curtained that no man can look into it. Following the bride's carriage is a string of carriages containing relations & friends  €“ more like a funeral than a wedding.
40.   Part of Cairo with Citadel in background taken from roof of Mr Chinn's house. I am afraid this will be very much overexposed, so doubt if you will
