cold and raining.
On Saturday morning I came out here but found that Annie had not received my telegram, consequently not expecting me she did not come in till late. However I put in the time having a general look round Paris and getting the lay of the land.
Annie has not altered very much, except that she looks older and thinner. It is a nice little flat she & her friend have & it is awfully good of them to put me up.
During the day whilst they are at work I visit different places of interest. Have seen quite a lot already.
Yesterday morning I went with Annie & Miss Riviere to the quarter where some of the big shops are, as they wanted to do some Christmas shopping. It seems so funny to see all the shops open on Sunday & doing a big business. It was quite an interesting sight.
t is very easy to get about Paris in either Metropolitans (underground) or trams.
