there plenty of food, but it is well cooked & cleanly served up.
On Tuesday the Col. very kindly lent me his car to run across to Salisbury to see May Rees and Mrs. & Nora Moore. The last two being in Salisbury for the day to see Lionel Rees. It only meant a few hours away, but it was good to get away from the Camp for just that short time. One is apt to become stale, when sticking to a job too long without any spell. I think the Col. realised that & that is why he let me have his car. Going into Salisbury we went through a heavy rainstorm. The water seemed to come down in sheets. Rees is in the Duchess of Pembrokes hospital at Wilton, so we went straight through Salisbury, in the hope of catching Mrs. M. and N. at the hospital. They passed me on the way, though I did not see them. They saw me however, turned, & gave chase. I don't think they would have caught up only I stopped to ask the way. We were then just near the hospital, so I let Scott (who drives the Col's car) go off on his own & we went back to see Rees. He is quite perky & will soon be up. He was awfully
