Indian coins. Also two small earthenware vessels I unearthed at the Abusir pyramids. There are quite a number of these vessels still to be found there amongst the ruins. In the same packet are the two pieces of skull of which I wrote before.
A little while back I told you about meeting Mrs.Bryant in town with her daughters who were married to soldiers in Cairo quite recently. The husband of the younger €“ Mr Johnson €“ got pneumonia and died last week. It seems very sad, for the poor chap did not even get a chance of firing a shot for his country. I have not been able to go and see them, so I dropped a note.

P.S. The two little earthenware vessels are the same as those that were put into tombs for the Ka or Spirit to feed from.
