The last two days have been terribly dusty. This is the second very bad spell of dust we have had. As Mena Camp is right on the sand - quite away from the cultivation plots of the Nile Valley, so we catch any sand blowing.

James  €“ of whom I wrote in my last letter  €“ is now out of bed and hopes to leave the hospital in a couple of weeks. Mena House is so full that they are turning the men out at the earliest possible moment to make room for others.
