Many of the men brought money with them, so they can afford to purchase a lot of little curios. On the matter of curio buying though one has to be exceedingly careful for the place is simply chock full of cheap imitations of scarabs, miniature sphynxs etc. The natives are very shrewd and beat the Jews that we know hollow. As an instance of their shrewdness, and also as a sign of the times, the natives now call out "Egyptian Delight" instead of "Turkish Delight".

With this new style of drill there are six seven officers mounted where only three were mounted before. Some of those the newly mounted are not
