from the Camp. After that she will move into a nice place in Durrington village. It is a little further away, but is a much nicer place.

Did I ever tell you of some of the wedding presents we received. Mr. & Mrs. Knight gave us a cheque for  £20 and Pam one for  £10. I can tell you they came in very useful. I think I must have annoyed Mrs. Moore in some way because she sent along nothing. Not that I wanted anything, but after the number of presents she lavished on me before, it looked strange. Again she has only written wrote to Jane a few days ago & as that was to ask us both to Greenhall for Xmas, I should not grumble.

Mrs. M. Nora & Maj. Rees have all gone up to Greenhall. Lionel Rees is able to get about now with the aid of a stick. He went to Buckingham Palace last Saturday, & received both his V.C. & M.C.
