off, so as not to postpone the wedding. I have arranged for rooms here, so that I will bring Jane down to Wool to stay for a week or two. We will have to take our honeymoon later on.
I thought after my experience at the No.1 Command that I was due for a week's holiday, but apparently the Gen. had other views. I only hope I will be able to stick it. I am going to apply for an assistant adjutant to be appointed & that will relieve me a bit. By the time he comes along - if he ever does - the worst of the work will be over.
I am going to stop now, because I feel tired out, and there is a big day ahead tomorrow.
The voting on the question of compulsion is to be held, & also the C. in. C. Gen Schuter is to pay us a visit. More inconsideration.
