his manager & afterwards trotted out to box Kew.  Cousin Fanny was at home so I had lunch with her & about 3 p.m. left to get my train for Sydney, en route, I called on some folks & 3 or 4 saw me away. An amusing incident occurred at the station, I had only a few moments & turned into my carriage intending to say goodbye thro the window when judge my surprise to see Mr. Carson sire in the same carriage, it was just sport. I introduced him to the girls & he was in his element. Our trip to Albury was most interesting & I questioned him concerning many Wanganui people.  It was good to meet someone from N.Z.  At Albury, we had to part he took the late train.

I arrived in Sydney at 10 a.m. today & I felt quite pleased to get back to camp again & to be with the chaps. My company is going on final leave tomorrow so I will have very little to do for the next few days. Don't expect, however, to get away till January, but it is good to get final leave finished.

I would be glad to receive photos of my Dad and Mother, those I had were sent home with my boxes. With Cousin Fanny I left all my letters & odds and ends to be sent to you later, it must be quite a relaxation to read through my letters, I often think
