My dear Mother & Father & all,
Just received your letter of the 17th Mar. & really I am surprised to note that my Dad is still worrying over Florrie, to my mind she is very fortunate & has my very best wishes, damn the money side, it isn't worth considering compared with her happiness, bless my soul I was nearly a parson myself, it was touch & go you know. There is no one in the wide world for whom I entertain greater respect than a Methodist Parson, their general standard is higher than that of any other denomination. I am happy to hear of Mr Minifer standard re exams but these even don't matter a fig the great thing is that they should be suited to each other, & Mother if you are content then rest assured I am too, as a matter of
