My dear Florrie
I have enclosed under other envelopes letters I have lately received & in this I am placing a 5 franc piece, they are rather rare. I have only seen two since coming here, my Q.M. got it for me in Paris a few days ago.
Often I wonder how many of my letters go astray. I have written at least twice every week whilst in France & I feel sure that your postman will frequently wonder what I can have to say that is if you have received them all. Often I feel quite sorry that we cannot take photographs but I suppose it is because some men would go too far. I would increase your stock considerably.
Am very sorry that you are unable to find a place to hang the native weapons but it gives some pleasure to know that you have at least framed the picture & my sketches, Use dark Kiwi on the sword
