My dear Florrie
Today I went into -- & purchased a couple of odds & ends for you to be posted later. I know the places - marked on them - well.
Tonight we had dinner with the sergeants & corporals - I'm dead sick of seeing dinners & was pleased when I could retire to my little hut. Enclosed you will find a programme the scene depicted is a picture of our camp.
I met May Hamiltons brother today & had a cup of afternoon coffee with him - he told me that Jack Cornfoot had gone "West", to us of course it brings little surprise & it comes as a matter of course but we are awfully sorry for his people - it is they who feel it most.
I also purchased a couple of cards enclosed.
With love & good wishes to all
Yours affectionately
Malcolm
