smiled as I have thought of Florrie & Cousin Alice chasing thro those I sent home with my luggage, it must have been quite jolly for both & I'm game to bet they never got thro the lot, those received since arriving here are stowed away in my box & will be perused by you all later, sometime we will make a bonfire of the lot, they run back to the time when I first left home as a matter of fact it might easily be possible to determine my whereabouts at the time the letters were written.

I would like you to send a few photos of the interior of our house to sort of call back old memories. That vase I sent over with my boxes is a beauty, a real gem, you want to be careful & not put too many flowers in it at once they easily overbalance, often I look in the windows here for a mate for it, but so far haven't seen anything half so good, it is possible that only the best specimens are sent out to the colonies, its value should increase with the years. The 3 wooden fakes are "Irish Bog Oak" got them in Sydney some weeks before I left if I remember   2 are the same size & one is larger. I would like you to give one to Mrs Hamilton.   I thought I had mentioned this in an earlier letter.
