lose most of my kit in the rush down here & with it many souvenirs, still it is no good worrying.
Two parcels arrived yesterday one like this - [see image for drawing]. The other contained a box of biscuits & a patent knife fork & spoon both were duly appreciated & did the honours at the mess. You are awfully kind to go to so much trouble. At the same time your letters of 31.3.18, 7.4.18 & Dads of the 1st April arrived, these are more appreciated than anything it being some time since I received letters before, you ought to adopt my stunt of writing when you have a few minutes to spare, it pays.
Evidently you have had a full house lately, glad Mr & Mrs Brown came to tea kindly remember me to them when next you should meet.
