reception & it felt just like going home again, they just treat me like a son. Lil Ida & Clem a good sports & I felt sorry I could not stay longer. I saw many other people whom I knew & went out to the Aquaduct again. The Chief Engineer gave me a ride in his car. At 5.25 pm I caught the Ballarat express & from there went on to Adelaide arriving at this beautiful city at 10.00 am Sunday morning.  The views of Adelaide from the Hills - Mount Lofty Ranges are simply exquisite & I am happy to carry away memories of it. I walked over to Kent Town & really it didn't feel as if I had been away 10 months. The day was simply "bonzer" & it became quite a problem upon whom I should call first, somehow my steps pulled up at "Mum's" - she had lost her Mother Mrs Casely recently & I had written to her - in reply she told me that my letter was simply the best out of the 400 they had received.
