Lt Malcolm Stanley
Dear Sir
Please excuse the liberty I am taking in writing to you but my sisters at 72 Campbell St, Wanganui very often mention you in their letters & your sister Rita on one occasion sent an enclosure in one of the girls parcels.
It is only natural that I should like to meet you & if its not infra dig when in the vicinity of the 2nd Div. Hqrs l would llike you to look one up. I am on the Hqrs of the 2nd Aus. Sig. Coy & hope to be on the move from our present position in another three weeks.
I am only back from Blighty a few weeks after a few months spell there & when I reached Parkhouse found you had left there for Brightlingsea.
Trusting you are well & standing the climate & thick stuff in good style.
Sincerely Yours
