have left me now - thank God.
I was in the CCS for just on 3 weeks thence to Nor Red X Hospital Rouen (highly recd) for about 5 weeks and finally I got here on the 2nd instant - since when I have been getting on like a house on fire. Can now just stand unsupported for a few moments & ditto a very few steps. Was out in the garden in a wheeled chair - full length affair - for 3 hours this afternoon.
Oh incidentally I am marked for Australia - so I also am a fit subject for congratulations - Do you know my address there? I suppose so -
"Karoola"
Cleveland St
Wahroonga
Rollo left here for Australia yesterday. I did not see him as this has been my first day outside the ward & of course it was out of the question for him to come & see me - However he sent me a farewell & a tin of tobacco - both very acceptable.
Well old sport - cheerio - My Mother is here with me now & must talk to her.
Congrats again - Yours
Lance Will
