My dear Malcolm
We were all so pleased to see you last week, just as you were to see us. So glad you had such a happy time while you were here & also with your Uncle, Aunt & Cousins at Stroud.
We were so disappointed you did not call on Sunday night. Gerald & Wilfred went to S.B. Station hoping they might meet you, & give you your pipe & brush which you left behind. Perhaps you will come next week for it.
I can scarcely realise that it was really Malcolm (our Lizzies boy) I don't think I was ever happier than when I saw you.
I have thought so much about you this week & your request that I would write to your dear Mother, I feel I cannot help myself since you pleaded so earnestly for me to do. I will write & tell her how
