I had afternoon tea & ate somewhere about 10 cakes, told them I was hungry so I did not need to apologise.

At  4.7 pm I met Miss Marsh & went by train to Box Hill - Savings Bank - it did me good to be with them again. About 8 pm I caught a train & afterwards tram to Kew where I found Cousins Alice & Fanny out - depositing my luggage on the verandah. I wandered to the station to find how the early Saturday trains ran to Geelong & just as I entered the Station my Cousins walked out, with them I spent the night - there home is very much improved, much cleaner & neater for which change I am thankful. Stanley looks fairly well & is apparently getting on well at his situation. I had a good old talk with them assertaining carefully how things stand. Fanny is home owing to the coal strike & commences first thing after Xmas holidays. Alice is in full work & looks well.

I left Melb at 6.30 am Saturday for Geelong arriving at this later town at 8.30 am. Leaving my luggage at the Station I wandered thro the town up to the Nash's. It hasn't altered much & I did not then meet any whom I knew. The Nash's gave me a great
