of games of billiards - which I won. I am not a very good player but some breaks of 10 to 15 brought me up quickly. Billiards is an awfully interesting game but unfortunately because it is interesting it is associated with questionable places.

Tuesday I cruised round Adelaide during the morning calling on the Harbor Board Commissioners and others untill 11 a.m. & then I went down to Glenelg to have lunch with Mr & Mrs Store.  I felt it leaving the kiddies you know I have been a great deal to them & they have always been chummy with me. After saying Goodbyto the office, I caught a train for town & dressed for dinner, with the Rooneys, they were all there except Leslie who embarked in Nov the 6th, it was tip top. After dinner I called at the homes of two or three people & finally finished up at the Roberts.  I had a good long yarn with Freda & her people they were awfully kind & I enjoyed their company - To Freda Roberts I intend to write whilst I am away & I trust sincerely in the future.

My last day in Adelaide Wednesday I spent  practically with Mrs Scott we went out to North Sydney to see the Rev Frank Lade an old friend of mine & we had lunch in the city. The Melb. express left at 4.30 p.m. & I spent a few minutes with the secretary of Harris Scarfe
