Just received your letter dated 2.12.17.
Thanks very much for posting tobacco haven't received so far any special tobacco parcel, it has always come in big parcels. Yes I will let you know dates of parcels, made a mental note re refootting the stockings. Glad you sent the French notes down to May Hamilton. I didnt think I had sent you so many of the same kind, its difficult to remember.
My batman has gone on leave to England, gave him Auntie ME's address & have asked my Auntie to write you should he call.
Wrote to May Hamilton re Jim Comfort, heard weeks ago, John Hamilton told me thro the phone.
Yes I get the Auckland Weeklies quite regularly & pass them on, thank you very much.
Don't mention rice pudding any more till you hear I am on my way home
