The vibration of the guns near here have broken the looking glass which you sent sorry. Thanks very much for the YMCA coupons, they are curios. Personally, a bit "fed up" with the YMCA: to much blinking advertisement, the Salvation Army are I think more popular, the Church Army also do a grand work
Had letters today from Mable Dickinson - told her she was an old spinster & talked about sharing her pension a few years hence - Les Rooney, he is off home to Australia. One of the Stone kiddies, the letter amused me exceedingly.
The butter arrived safe & sound but I would not trouble sending any more as we can always purchase it from the estaminets, it tasted fine, the postage must be rather heavy for
