the Native Weapons the collection is worth at least £10 and being of hard wood will last a long time, the shield should be given - as a presentation from yourself - to the Wanganui Museum, they would be glad to have it, it belonged to the Adelaide Tribe now extinct.  I treasure these native weapons very much, it was quite a contract to gather them together, the boomerang Dad got in Wanganui cost 35/- the carving on it is unique, you will know the one Calman took it over for me.  What exactly have you done with my books, there are some rather rare works among them, if I were home I would make a case for them, to keep them will require care & I would have a chat with a librarian re insect powder to keep the worms out of them. There are some books on "Myths and Legends" which I would like Florrrie to peruse, there are 4 in the set if I remember correctly, the illustrations are tip top.

With lots of good wishes

Yours affectionately

Malcolm
