My dear Florrie
Thanks very much for the letter parcel those cigars were bonser, at the time of their arrival I was seated alongside a road having tea or dinner if you like, we were bivouaced pour the night, after a long march, the meal was partially completed when the QM came along with the mail, it was all that was needed to make us happy. I retired to a hut in the wood to enjoy mine. I am enclosing a couple of Bank notes issued by the municipal authorities, their value is very small.
