Today I received a note from the Customs Authorities England stating that they are holding up a parcel containing tobacco - it would possibly be advisable to address parcels direct to - 10th Field Co, Australian Engineers, France
Tomorrow I am off to one of those abominable institutions designed especially to annoy - viz a school, the only pleasing feature is that I will see a little more of La Belle France, it exists for 6 days
Saw May Hamilton's brother a few days ago, he looks in the pink.
Have met recently a number of chaps whom I knew in Geelong.
Well having definitely located my gas mask & box of matches, I am feeling entirely at peace with the world & ready to hop into my sleeping bag.
Oh! I forgot to tell you that I had had all my hair clipped off & now have a strong likeness to Bill Sykes, it feels very comfortable & is more clean, the weather you see has been hot & muggy.
