can I will get an aeroplane made for you they are delightful models & consist entirely of brass you will be pleased with it.

Now I've made my cocoa & there is some toast left from my lunch so I'm right, later a pipe & a bit of French usually after I've crept into my sleeping bag.

Do not trouble to send me any more handkerchiefs or socks I'm chock a block & have tons of warm things for the winter, my box at Auntie Mary Ellen's is loaded with them.

Last night New Years Eve I read the good old 46th Psalm, its grand & true to experience & who more than a soldier can qualify this "God is our refuge & strength" will carry us into through everything.
