leave our comfortable dugouts, this life is one of continual change, here today gone tomorrow. A fellow soon becomes acquainted with the various places & usually distinguishes them by the type of billets there.
In the trenches a few days ago I found a "sight of the Minnemwerfer", the projectiles are popularly called "Minnies" they weigh about 200 lbs & come along with the noise of express trains, they make a mess of the trenches - somehow I will try to get it home.
