Cousin Harry has been wounded but so far I have heard no particulars he said on the card that he would write soon.

I am out of the work on the trenches for a spell & do not expect to go back for two or three weeks as we hope to go back into rest for a brief spell.  This life will do me but the only trouble is that it becomes frightfully dull, one nearly dies at times with ennui.

Had a parcel from May Hamilton a couple of days ago it took 3 months to get here. Never send a parcel without including some bacca, its not polite to leave it out let me assure you, the first thing the chaps look for is bacca every time.

Beneley seems pretty well down in the dumps & sounds as if he would like someone to look after him.

Gladys Nappy sent me a bonser parcel a few days ago a parcel of odds & ends which I thoroughly enjoyed.

With love to all

Malcolm
