My dear Florrie,

Today I have received your letters of Sept 20, 30th and Oct 7th all in one heap. I had been wondering why they had not come along, they are usually so regular. Dads letter was tip top and I appreciate his care & thought in making clear the balance sheet, evidently things are going well with you.

Am delighted to learn that all the photos & PCs arrived safely, those of the night in London I purchased in a shop close to St Pauls.  I like London it is tres bon, & the PCs are decidely artistic.  I note also that you have had difficulty securing albums. My Auntie M.E. considered that I was prodigal with my money, you say nothing so far of the pictures of the Oldham Art Gallery, "The Last Furrow" is my favourite.
