been on duty all night. "I couldn't pick up that post last night, tried 3 times too, I somehow fancy that minnie that knocked me over had something to do with it," he mentioned it quite casually, all in a nights work; somebody turns over & says "was he minnying last night".
Roaming on I try to find another crowd about a little job, "Are you so & so" singing out to some deep dug out, the answer comes back "No". "Do you know where they are?" "No try the next dug out but two" & so you flounder round, someone then sings out, "Go round the rear of one possie & keep down". Wondering why the deuce I came to the war I slip into 2' 6" of mud & wade along finally getting to my objective, have a look round, & make for home, thoroughly tired out & ready for a good wash & shave & so the days come & go.
Every few nights we go in for a night trip, mine comes off tomorrow it practically
