My dear Malcolm,
The enclosed cutting will explain the apparent deficiency in the usual communication from N.Z. & Australia. Today I am forwarding to you two letters to hand this morning also two parcels from Florrie.
To judge from the papers and reports the Allies are having a rough time of it towards Soisons & Rheims, about 45 miles from Paris. We have often wondered how you are faring in your particular section.
I had a letter from Elsworth about two week ago he is quite O.K. in Italy.
Your Cousin Harry has got married and has returned to France since the event. I have not heard from him lately, not direct anyway.
Your cousins Winnie & Arthur get married on June 22nd at Strood Church at 10-30 am; the reception will be held at the Gordon Hotel 11-30, after lunch the happy pair leave for Shanklin, Isle of Wright. for 10 days
