Saw an air scrap just in front of Medjel today, when 2 Huns & 1 of our Nieuport Scouts came down.
15th
There was to have been a big stunt here today but it was put off at the last moment for some reason or other.
Johnny has any amount of guns here now & nearly every morning wakes us up with an early morning drum fire.
The start of things in France may have something to do with the suspension of operations.
29th
Tis rumoured that Johnny is to attack tomorrow to try & retake Jaffa. Everyone seems to have the wind up completely, why I don't know & our guns have been withdrawn to a position 2,000 yds in rear of Medjel on account of this.
