Monday 21st

Left quarantine at 9 am arrived Anzac Buffet at 10.15 being met by motors at the wharf & taken in them to the Buffet. Met Mr Stinson, Mrs Stinson, Dr Nash, Uncle Arthur & Auntie.

Had to report at the Barracks at 12 oclock for medical examination & discharge. In just about an hour I had been through the lot & received my discharge & a fairly good civilian suit (Don't think).

Also received a leave pass up to May 29st. I get full pay & 3/- per day sustenance allowance during the period & I have to be out of uniform for the expiration of my leave.

May 29th

Today sees the termination of my period of service in the A.I.F. as my discharge takes effect from today.
