We were innoculated today against Pneumonic Flu & were glad to get a chance to be done before going off.
We had a comparitively smooth trip down to Hobart, except for the South West Coast, where it was a bit rough. We did not see Hobart but pulled into the quarantine stn in Burns Bay.
Tis a very nice place indeed & everyone was admiring the locality & saying how nice it would be to spend a holiday round there.
Stayed in overnight & pulled ot at 11 am. We had it fairly choppy in Bass Strait & quite a lot were seasick. Arrived at Portsea quarantine stn about 2 am on 13th & left after dinner. We put ashore over 300 in all.
It was very rough coming out of the Rip but during the night it died down.
Expect to be in Sydney heads tomorrow morning about 7 am. Were innoculated todays & received certificates for it.
