Tis not much good me giving any Statistics regarding the Pyramids I suppose as one can get them from anywhere.
The highest is 460', we did not go inside any of the Pyramids as tis not very pleasant nor did we climb any of them. To go inside you must take off your boots & slide down a low slippery passage.
The Sphinx is quite close to the Pyramids, in a hollow caused by excavations made to expose it. Its nose is broken off, done it is said by Napoleon in Battle of Pyramids.
The pyramids were covered at one time with a smooth coating of Limestone but all of this except a little on the centre one had been removed to build the Citadel.
Also visited the Museum. It is a fine building about 3 times as big as Sydney Museum, & is a 2 storeyed building.
