NULLAMANNA BYRON PLAINS DISTRICT OF NEW ENGLAND

George Wyndham Esqr is Licensee of this Station which is Situated on Frasers Creek one of the tributaries of the Severn River, this creek joins the Severn two Miles below Egerton. Nullamanna was first occupied in 1840 and is bounded on the east by Kings plains named by the Aborigines Ouroowarannie and on the north by Pindari, on the South by Inverell, and on the west by Bacalla. A remarkable pyramidical mountain is on this run (Gaggans Mountain) named by the Aborigines Ganaman Gibber

Limestone of good quality is found on this run. One of the principal northern lines of road through Byron plains passes by Frasers Creek to Goonyan on the Sovereign or Dumaresq river

Nullamanna is nine Miles from Inverell, ten miles from Bacalla, twelve Miles from Pindari, twenty one Miles from Kings plains, twenty nine Miles from Strathbogie, & thirty Miles from Egerton. Goonyan is Situated at the junction of the roads to Darling Downs and Calandoon on the Macintyre, this is a principal Crossing place on the Sovereign river, and is distanced from Nullamanna to Frasers Creek Inn 28 Miles, to Egerton 2, to Mypoolba 12, to Goonyun 28, total 70 Miles —
