NOTICE TO THIS EDITION.

One particular object has been attained, by preparing a list of the Settlers in the Northern and Western interior, namely the facility for reference to the extent of occupation in these districts.
A material & important difficulty, will always present itself to the Compiler of an alphabetical list of the Settlers, from the frequent changing of the occupants of Stations, & from the Sale & transfer of LIcenses [licences]. The number of Freeholders, & Householders are yearly increasing in these Districts, Townships with suburban & Country allotments, have been opened up in several of the Northern Counties, and the desire of possessing a piece of land has been displayed in every district in the Northern &
Western country, where land has been offered for Sale -
