FIRST ACCOUNT OF TALLOW AS AN EXPORT FROM NEW SOUTH WALES
No mention is made of tallow as an export from New South Wales previous to the year 1843. In June that year, the boiling down establishments were in operation. and I find the export of tallow for that year 5680 Net Value 9,639 pounds.
