VIEW OF OBAN STATION IN THE COUNTY OF GRESHAM DISTRICT OF NEW ENGLAND

Oban is Situated on the river Ann a tributary of Clarence river, and is thirty five Miles from Armadale, excellent Crops of wheat, Maize, and barley are produced on the lands of this river. Oban is one hundred and twenty eight Miles from Grafton the Sea port on Clarence River, and is three hundred and eighty Six Miles from Sydney by Maitland. Gold is found on this run as also in those adjoining       The aborigines name this Station Oparingall, and a remarkable range (a spur from the Cordillera) they name Ratchett Oumitie.
