PRODUCTION OF GOLD - 1851
During the week ending 25th October the quantity of gold received from the various diggings in New South Wales amounted to Seven thousand eight hundred & sixty three ounces.
GOLD CIRCULAR 15th NOVEMBER 1851
Mr Lloyds circular announced at this date that the export of gold amounted to £329,797.16.3. of this a small proportion was the produce of the Victoria gold fields.
1852
By the 17th of January the export of gold from Sydney had reached £626,708.
QUARTER ENDING 31st DEC. 1851
The sum of twenty tree thousand five hundred pounds was derived entirely from the sale of gold licenses & fees charged for export.

PRODUCTION OF AUSTRALIAN GOLD
The production of gold from the various mines of Australia, in New South Wales & Victoria may be stated at this date to amount to Four Millions Sterling -

Gold was purchased in Maitland on Hunter River at sixty two and sixty trhree shillings per ounce -
