LIVERPOOL PLAINS DISTRICT
The Species which is called Sensitive grass from its laying on the ground appears to have the Same properties as that described in the plant. Sheep & Cattle graze on it when the plains are devoid of grass & herbage the Sheep are said to prefer it to all other herbage, and we find the Sheep [?] in this district to keep in Condition when every vestage of grass has disappeared
