AMERICAN OR CASTLEREIGH RIVER
This river rakes its rise from the Warrenbungle & Liverpool ranges is joined by Wambullong Creek betwixt Eramagullia & Gulgagamben, by Connambo Creek on Mr Walkers run & by the Merry Merry Creek at Bullaroara The American river divides at Beamba & again unites on the run of James Hall esqr. The Southern branch is occupied by the Stations of Mr Lawson & Mr McCrae at Molemnia & the Northern by Mr Angus & Mr Brown The American or Castlereigh joins the Barwan on the run occupied by Mr Lawson
MOOKI RIVER
This river flows from the Liverpool range & joins the Namoi at Gunnedah a Station formerly occupied by Mr Johnstone at this junction there is a principal crossing place for the roads passing down the Namoi & for the Northern Gwyder & Macintyre river roads
NAMOI RIVER
The Source of this river is the Malurundi or Macdonald river, named Macdonald from a person of that name having erected a hut & Stockyard near to the present crossing place at Bendemere. This river rises in the Ureandumbi ranges & is named the Macdonald until is joined by the Manilla or Native name Maniella below that river named the Namoi
BUNDARRA RIVER
The Bandarra or Pundarra takes its rise at Kentucky in New England, This river ceases to be named the Bundarra at Keri a Station of Allan Macpherson Esqr & is there named the Gwyder
