HEAD STATION AT MOUNT MITCHELL COUNTY OF GRESHAM.

John Barker Esqr is Licensee of this Station which is Situated on the River Sarah a tributary of Clarence river       

Mount Mitchell is 395 Miles from Sydney - 44 Miles from Armidale

                              19 Miles from Falconer - 9 Miles from Oban

                              12 Miles to Yarrow Creek - 23 Miles to Glen Innes

                              38 Miles from Dundee - 83 Miles from Tenterfield

and one hundred & forty Miles from Grafton by the Guy faulks line and one hundred Miles from Grafton by the line lately discovered through Paddys land passing Broadmeadow

Mount Mitchell is near to the Head Station from this Mountain to Benlomond is12 Miles. Benlomond is the highest point of the great Northern Cordillera in New England [?] at an elevation of 5000 feet above the level of the Pacific Ocean. This Station is bounded on the West [Llangollen?] on the east by the great Northern falls of Paddys land on the North by Yarrow Creek &South by Oban. Excellent crops of Wheat and other Cerials are produced here - The Aboriogines [?] Station Taan and this they name Mount Mitchell.
