William Vivers Esqr is Licensee of this Station which is Situated on Kings Creek a tributary of the Severn river
Extensive plains are at this Station, these were named by Joseph King Esqr and gave the name to the Station. The Aborigines name these plains Ouroowarannie. Kings plains and Newstead are Situated on the western Slope of the highlands, both are Considered to be Byron plains Stations. Kings plains Station was taken up in 1839 or 1840, and has excellent grazing and agricultural land, is four hundred and Sixteen Miles from Sydney, Sixty Miles from Armadale, and is bounded on the west by Nullamanna, & Bacalla, On the north by Pindari, on the South by Newstead and Inverell, and on the east by Wellingrove and Waterloo
