SALE OF STATIONS
The following properties in the Northern Districts changed hands in August 1855
The Station at Kangaroo Hills in New England with Thirteen thousand Sheep, at thirteen Shillings per head
The Station at Goubongie in the District of Darling with Eight thousand Sheep at fifteen Shillings per head
Areelang Stations in the District of Bligh with Seven thousand five hundred Sheep at Eleven Shillings & ten pence per head.
Cattle — A mixed herd of one thousand (Stragglers) Macintyre River were Sold at twenty five Shilings per head
PURCHASING SHEEP FOR STOCK OR STORE
The shearing months or for a month or two afterwards, ought to be avoided for the purchasing of Sheep particularly Ewes
