Friday 8 March [1918]
Up at 6.30. Packed & breakfast at 7.30. Left at 8.30 & flew in formation to Cachy through very thick weather at first. Landed at 9.30. Pushed our machines into hangars before lunch. We have a very good camp & ought to be quite comfortable in time. Off in the squadron car with the C.O., Claye & Francis to Corbie to lunch. Back to aerodrome in afternoon. Cleary and Watson arrived about 5.30. The transport turned up about 7.30 & we got most of our kit. Had some food about 9 & then to bed. This is far nicer country than up north, but it has many sad memories for me. I hope to get a chance to visit Heilly & see dear old Roger's grave soon.
