Monday 29 April [1918]
Very "dud" again. Up at 10. Went off & had some target practice with rifles with the C.O. & Claye. I shot pretty rottenly. Read after lunch. C.O., Claye & I went to Hesdin in the squadron car & did some shopping & had tea. Back to dinner. All the others had gone out for the evening. Willard came up after dinner & we played bridge. This "dud" weather is the limit! We havn't done a job for over a week now!
