Wednesday 20 March [1918]
Up at 10. After breakfast left films to be developed. To Cox's & drew some cash. Cabled home saying I am on leave. Down to the Bank to arrange about letters. Back to lunch at Ford's with Aunty & Mary, after getting theatre seats. After lunch went to Army & Navy stores & arranged to have my propeller boss made into a tobacco jar for Father. Then went round doing various jobs shopping. Back to Ford's for tea & wrote letters after. Austie & Cis arrived about 6 & we all went to the Trocadero where we met Margaret & had dinner. Then to the Prince of Wales & saw Gertie Millar in "Flora" – a very good show. Supper at the Regent Palace. Saw Margaret home.
