Friday 27 December [1918]
Up at 10. Very windy & dud. In morning I went with the C.O. & Beaver to see Sparkes & others at Sommerville Hospital. Back to lunch at the Wing. In the afternoon we went down to Port Meadow. Back to Wing & changed. Caught the 4.20 to Fairford. By car to Barnsley & had dinner. Margaret & I went in to the Harrison's dance at the King's Head. Quite a good show done in good style. Had an excellent dance. Back to bed about 3.30.
