Met Pat Courick at Grosvenor.

Monday 3 June [1918]
Up at 7. Motor to Kemble with Margaret & caught the 8.30 to London. Reported to Air Board & after a long & trying wait got orders to report to South Eastern Area Hq. at Covent Garden Hotel. Met Jock Purdom & had a drink with him at the Savoy. Went to the S.E. Area but no one in. Lunch at Petit Riche with Margaret. To Cox's & then to S.E. Area & got orders to report to Group at Oxford tomorrow. That means either Oxford or Rendcomb. To Junior A & N about boots & did other shopping. Met old Robinson – who still looks ill. Went to Maiden Lane to go to confession & waited over an hour for a priest but couldn't get one. Dinner at Grosvenor. Called at 27 Collingham Place in evening.
